Crucial car functions should not be behind a touch just because it looks neat. Mirrors don't require electronics to work and are just fine. (Back up cameras I do like) and what is wrong with a normal fixed door handle? A car door handle that pops out, spins 176 degrees, and says hello in Latvadian is fun for the first milisecond and then you realise if that fancy handle malfunctions if your EV catches fire. Look I would love to drive an EV to help phase the enviroment but they gotta stop with the nonsense first.
