Cops' reaction to a teenager needing help after his car ran out of gas was to draw their guns and slam his head onto a cruiser while intimidating a witness.

So sorry this happened. I couldnt imagine how youre heart feels seeing this. I used to trust police officers until I took a job where I interact with them daily. I realized that many of them are sociopaths, many of them are incapable of seeing the gray in situations (there was no gray in this situation), and many of them forget that the people they are at "war" with are the people who pay their salaries. I couldn't agree more that it is time to change. Police need to stop being vindictive and purposefully dropping the ball just because people are upset that they get treated this way. After 12 years of working alongside police officers I've also learned that although many of them are just plain bad people it is our justice and political system that gives them the bandwidth to behave this way. It's unbelievable but unfortunately not even surprising anymore that police are behaving this way in 2023. I hope they receive the harshest punishment possible to see what it feels like to be at the receiving end of complete powerlessness to a system of injustice, a system of racism and a country that has waged war on its people for decades. God bless you and your family.
