Coronavirus guide

from your article:

The CDC opted to develop its own coronavirus test and did not use the WHO’s protocol for the test.

The German one became the approach WHO circulated as its preferred model.

Other developed countries with advanced research capabilities developed their own tests.

Any country could use whatever recipe it preferred, and even if the United States had picked the WHO’s protocol, it wouldn’t need the WHO to sell it the materials to follow it. Germany released its protocol on Jan. 17, but the U.S. decided to have the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention develop its own. That protocol was published Jan. 28.

so germany made a model on jan 17, the WHO made that the preferred model, but countries like south korea, who has fared far better than every other country, and other developed countries like japan, hong kong, and france, opted out of doing it and did it on their own, and then the u.s. said they'd have the cdc do it and published it on jan 28.

JANUARY 28

before the travel restrictions. just two weeks after the WHO published this tweet:

"Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China," the organization had said.

just a week after the first case.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/coronavirus-centers-for-disease-control-first-case-united-states/

there is NOTHING there that suggests the united states did anything out of the ordinary or wrong. everything was done exactly as any other administration would have done it, given the information available.

"No discussions occurred between WHO and CDC about WHO providing COVID-19 tests to the United States," said WHO spokeswoman Margaret Harris. "This is consistent with experience since the United States does not ordinarily rely on WHO for reagents or diagnostic tests because of sufficient domestic capacity."

and that debunks the esquire article you linked.

you done goofed, bud. you should really just admit it.
