Corporate landlords are snatching up mobile home parks and jacking up the rent

I have a 2% ownership interest in a mobile home park...long story but it's been in my extended family for its 40+ years of existence and nobody in our family has openly expressed interest in selling. Our rents only increase a couple percent annually for existing tenants.

All of a sudden in the past 3 years we have been getting bombarded with cold calls/letters from investment companies and brokers working on behalf of them trying to get us to sell. It has dried up in the past few months, but for a while there we were getting some pretty crazy unsolicited offers. Based on the location, their end goal is probably to kick out all of the tenants, get it rezoned, and put up a trucking warehouse.
