Nashville students prepare for a long fight to end gun violence, drawing inspiration from the Civil Rights Movement

Maybe addressing mental health, socioeconomic inequality, and intolerance that we have system-wide, and increasing mental health awareness and support systems for youths and adults going through massive mental health crises.

The stuff you are talking about would take no less than a national health service like they have in the UK, or at the very least medicare for all to replace our parasitic system. I'm all for that, but in the meantime I'd like to see gun control resembling what they have in Canada.

Additionally, the "mental health" argument is the figurative smokescreen put up by the gun lobby every time there is a mass shooting.

People commit mass shootings for reasons, and there's only so much that keeping the tools locked down will do, we have to address the people problem

We do almost nothing now.
