Could we discuss the reason are purchases mean next to nothing now...

No, what we can do is when can do is argue the rhetoric, argue the policy. You cant tell someone to their face they thing fundamentally wrong, but the more issues you can change their mind on, the more they see republicans dont make sense.

The good people just dont know, and are forming their thoughts on the info theyre given, and some are well aware, and believe the system is too broken to fix, or is designed that way for a reason. 2/3 of those are fixable problems, which are good for democrats, and overall better for americans.

A quick example is systematic racism. Those who are affected by the system are telling us something is wrong, those who can indirectly influence that problem, half are saying the problem doesnt exist. Based on what? Well accoriding to them its lack of evidence. Demand lawmakers who will respond with a willingness to identify a problem even when one might not be apparent (systematic racism is more than just apparent, but thats beside my point).

A scientist would not simply state an atom doesnt exist because nothing suggests it, they would perform experiment after experiment to try to prove (or disprove) themselves, and even still, they acknowledge their experiments shortcomings. Our lawmakers want us to settle on them (currently making multiples of what the average scientist probably makes in america) feeling their way through issues.

Instead of systematic racism, why dont we conduct numerous studies across the country, and determine whether or not our expectations meet reality. What, we already did that and found numerous metrics to come to the conclusion that some form of systematic racism must exist? No, I wasnt taught that in school, that doesnt sound right /s.

Voting issues are amongst the issues where republicans will act like they have this high ground because no one is answering the questions that theyve been asking for months now, even though the questions were answered and confirmed months ago. Also notice, they choose the issues defined by society, not science, to gain their credibility. Abortion is about the social stigma, drugs are not about health of the user, guns are about freedom, etc. Real conservatives will argue we need infrastructure, but the democratic way of throwing money may not be the most responsible. Republicans will argue its not necessary in the first place because none of their friends are struggling (except caitlin jenners friend, my heart goes out), or they are they just dont care.

Either way, I dont like those kinds of people in general, let alone running our country. I like conservatives when they have legitimate thoughts, but the what ifs about young teens competing on a sports team they feel comfortable on is not helpful to society.

P.S. (maybe if we gave kids mental health support, they would either feel comfortable in their current bodies much longer, therefore missing the 4 years of highschool sports, or they transition soon and dont go through puberty and become physically superior, or maybe, we have enough students and we can have a separate trans teams (who knows), but limiting them because other people are meerly uncomfortable is denying the human struggle of generation before us, and is just sad that humans have taken thousands of years to fight over testosterone in pre-pubescent kids who dont even want to deal with these kind of issues in the first place.)
