I agree that many non-readers are actually liking the show. But one big red flag is they are liking the Moiraine, Lan plot, think Egwene and Nyneave are great (which the should be, not complaining about that), but they have almost no liking for the 3 boys story. Many have even suggested that they would be ok if the boys were cut out of the show.

The non-reader fans don't have the benefit of knowing where the show is supposed to be heading. And all the book readers who say they like the show because they like the new content, it's very short sighted and kind of selfish tbh, they don't care how the story as a whole develops as long as they are satiated with enjoyable (by their taste) content now.

It's like they are in a car and say that they really like the scenery outside but don't know(non-readers) or don't care (reader fans) that the car is heading in the wrong direction.
