I do find these topics and peoples attacks online funny and interesting as they know nothing about us as people and take it indicate they have no counter arguement so they fall back on the good old name calling play book. I've seen many in the othe subs say they came and looked here its full of bigots, racists and incels. Looking at the posts I have no idea how they summized that.

Personally, I'd fall in group 2, I'm not racist I just feel like the source material should be respected and I don't need our current social and cultural agenda in a fantasy series.

I want an escape from all the daily drama and BS to get lost in a wonderful world in a different time.

The WoT fails at that on multiple levels and it also disrespects the source material to a far greater level then just those changes.

What I find particularly funny when I get called an 'ist or a 'phobe. Since the early 00's I've had partners of many different races and ethnicity and loved them all. As long as they're hot I give no fucks. In addition my Sis, whom is one of my best friends came out years ago. I have zero hate in my heart for anyone but Rafe which is entirely justified imho.
