Was at the San dunes last month , if you never been there you are in for a treat , be sure to climb to the highest dune , there is a waterfall near by but the road is treacherous, was in my truck at the time and turned back about a quarter way up , also be sure and make reservations for the hot springs near the dunes , try to go adult area , they serve booze and no kids around , public pools will have all the locals and their children , was able to smoke ganja in parking lot nobody gave a shit , and I need to mention the area is my ancestral birth place my family and relatives have been in the area ( and in Colorado and New Mexico for over 175 years , knowing that blows my tits off whenever I reflect on that
