Coworker spotted this little guy IN THE MIDDLE OF I-4 next to the Amway Center this morning; she pulled over, managed to stop traffic, rescued him and brought him to work

Reddit, meet Scottie.

Back story on why we chose the name Scottie. A few years ago she was driving on the same highway, i-4, and saw a Scottish Terrier running along side the highway. I-4 like many highways has concrete barriers, but this stretch of road had barriers on both sides, so this dog was trapped with nothing but the road and shoulder. After struggling with whether or not to stop on this busy road and attempt to get the dog, she eventually pulled over and decided to go back and rescue him. By the time she made it back the pup had been hit by a car. We named him Scottie after hearing this story a few times and it only seemed fitting, a nice name and a nice way to remember the poor pup that lost its life. This kitten was literally in the middle of I-4 with cars zooming right over its head and if she hadn't stopped it probably would have wound up like the pup. By the way, she's not even a cat person, she has a dog named Lucky... a true hero with a huge heart for animals.

We found a home for him, my wife's friend is going to adopt him.
