Is there anything that can handle farming not awoken?

I've been trying to farm Faimon 1 normal with a 5* unawoken Lapis. I'd say 60% of the time, this works fine. But the rest of the time, she wipes on the 3rd stage because she finished off level 2 with retrieve magic on a near death hellhound. This is cutting the gains pretty significantly, from the 1587 per to around 1000-1200 per. Do I need to do a different dungeon? People in IRC continue to tell me that she can handle this, some saying she needs to be awoken and some not. I've been doing a lot of reading on this (here and on other sites) and advice seems to be all over the place on how to make this work for her.

She has +12 4* runes, Fatal/Blade (as I was advised would be good for normal, but not later difficulties). 8600 HP, 1210 ATK 479 DEF, 38% Crit chance, 68% crit damage, 113 SPD (enough to outspeed everything but the hellhound boss, who wastes his first turn normally anyways with a buff).

Do I need to go farm a set of despair runes for this to work? I was under the impression that this was only necessary for higher difficulties. Do I have to awaken her for this to work? IRC seemed mixed on whether or not this should be required. Do I just need more stats? If so, what?

I'm just trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong here, because everyone else seems to have an easy time with this. Here's my Swarfarm, incase I have a better farmer than Lapis that I'm not realizing:

I feel stupid because I've spent a good chunk of money on the game to get started, but I seem to be stuck at getting a reliable farmer. This is especially important since I plan to fuse Veromos tomorrow and need to level up enough fodder to make two more 5* fodders to evolve him.
