Singapore is also off my list because their outrageously barbaric cannabis laws. That's actually, sadly, a huge influence on my country choices. I suppose I feel a similar attachment to the US that I can't help, as you do Britain, and that's probably why Canada tops my list as Europe does yours.

I do feel like I need more Asian places on my list. I threw Cambodia in there because I've always had an interest in it as a place that a poor person can realistically immigrate to. Thailand sounds like it might be nice too. Perhaps Indonesia too, for its beaches and weather, just like the Caribbean, at least for as long as they exist below 110F (44C).
