Daily Question Thread - June 10, 2021

I currently have a CSR that I've had now for two years which is my newest card, and it's past time for me to get a new card. I have my eyes on the Amex Platinum, and while I easily get more benefits than the $550 AF of either one of the cards, I don't think I can with both even with a decent amount of travel planned. I also have a Chase Freedom Unlimited and then another card that's even older but I keep around only for keeping my credit age up.

I thought about doing a PC of my CSR to a CSP, but then I miss out on the CSP sign bonus. Would it make sense to just cancel my CSR and get a CSP in it's place so I can get the sign bonus and the cost of closing a couple year old account and the impact to my credit? Will they even let me get the sign bonus for it or is there a restriction there that I'm missing? I've still got ~200k UR points that I'd like to be able to redeem at the higher rate of a CSP/CSR than the freedom alone offers.
