I went last night as well, and I’m glad I’m not the only one that thought this! I have seen them once before during the WW tour and had such a wonderful time in the seats that I went through a lot of effort this time around to be barrier in the pit because I had such high expectations. His voice performance wasn’t necessarily suffering, but his stage presence felt very empty. He seemed detached at the soundcheck too. I stuck around after the show to meet him but he proceeded to ignore most of the group and left without barely a word to anyone. It was not at all like the Dan I’ve seen and read about. I get having bad days, but just because it’s end of the tour doesn’t mean the fans don’t deserve to have a similar experience the rest of the dates had.
