Regarding Ukraine I wouldn´t blame any one side. European countries wanted to draw Ukraine into the western sphere of influence. That goal, the way I see it, isn´t anything Europeans should be sorry for. I think it´s good that we´re trying that and I think we own it to the people of Ukraine. And as long as Ukraine was talking about integration into the E.U. the Russian Feder. didn´t budge. They weren´t happy because they hoped to get Ukraine to join the trade union they´ve set up with some former SU countries. The process got out of hand when Kiev signed the association agreement. Many aren´t aware but agreement included a passus that also set Ukraine on a path to NATO membership. Now one could argue what´s it to Russia if Ukraine wants to join NATO it´s their decision to make, they´re a sovereign country...but that would be a bit unrealisitic because we don´t live in such a world where all countries can make their own decisions. Just think of Cuba. They were a sovereign country and they weren´t allowed to choose their ally. Matter of fact the US were ready to whip out the nukes and erase our species over this dispute. If Ukraine were a NATO member they legally could deploy nuclear missles on their border to Russia. And that is something Russia can´t accept. I think rightly so. I think we can guarantee the safety of Ukraine without them beeing in NATO. I think Ukraine could become what Germany has been in the cold war: a mediator between east and west. An important role, a powerful role, too. So yeah.. I don´t blame the US alone for what´s going on in Ukraine but a proxy war on European soil in not in our interest.

And regarding the "Arab spring": There´s plenty of documentation that shows the US involvement in it, the orchestration of the movements by US foreign intelligence services.
