That day is finally here. 2014 FJ. 80K have never had one problem.

Just tipped 200k in mine. The only things i have had to replace are things I broke or caused. This and my 4runner have been the best vehicles ive ever owned... they both had/have the same 4.0L v6.

I put a crack in the oil pan on the 4runner, doing 70 mph and oil runs dry. Rig shuts off and we coast to a random mechanic shop with smoke coming out everywhere...thinking I just blew an engine i leave it overnight and call them the next morning. They had me running again only $270 later. The VVT-I system sensed the low oil pressure and shut the engine off before it completely destroyed itself. The rig did this at 240k miles. I drove it another 20k before I let it go and got the FJ. 200k miles later on it and ive only replaced a few bearings (idler pully and 2 wheel) and an alternator, as the stock one didnt like mud much. Best vehicles ever.
