Thoughts on Transgenderism

gender dysphoria is temporary in the majority of people who experience it and absolutely permanent in a very sizable population. Im not interested in whether the person who believes they are occupying the wrong body is literally correct or not, im interested in what those people can do to settle such a deep sense of internal conflict. for many many people the best option seems to be transitioning as best as possible. I would consider it a mental disorder, but I think a person transitioning is closer to a depressive taking SSRIs than a schizophrenic demanding they be humored. nobody wishes to feel they belong in the wrong body and it's resolving this FEELING that matters most to me, not what the persons literal correct sex is
