I've recently started reading scripture, after being an atheist/spiritual guy and weed smoker, and experienced "attacks". Not some sort of actual materialized demonic entity, but it almost seems like a dark energy is working through people, attacking me, right at the moment of my burgeoning faith. People who couldn't have known of my interest in Christian faith. Like a test of sorts. I've read in various places that this is common with "new" converts, that the Devil will try to lure their souls away from God. I've always been a pretty sober minded guy, and it may all be a coincidence, and because of the heightened focus on religion I start reading into things too much. It is strange though.
