Sorry but I do not agree with this. As a person who was born and raised on Guam, but lived in various states for roughly 15 years, and whose managed staff on Guam and in the mainland, I've never thought this.

Actually my experience is the opposite and military families I've hired were entitled and gave the feeling that they were above real work since their livelihood didn't depend on the job and it was more of just something to do. Now not to say you or the OP are like this, but thats my experience. But I will not generalize all military spouses or families and immediately jump to this conclusion during an interview. For me, the best candidate gets the job regardless.
