Does anyone here go to Paul Smith’s College? Or live around that area? How is it?

I attended Paul Smiths within the last 10 years. I ended up leaving halfway through my degree, and graduated from ESF. My older brother, and one of my parents are PSC alumni. The area that Paul Smiths is located in is unmatched. It's one of the most beautiful places on the Earth (in my opinion) That's not the issue though. The administration of the college went downhill during my time there, a lot of wonderful instructors left during my time there due to the administation and financial issues. Enrollment is WAY down. It's well known that they're struggling. The financial fiasco with Joan Weill and the court system tainted a lot in terms of reputation/finances/student experience. I've heard mixed opinions from current students about the admin now, and the education itself - and I'd say, in my opinion, that if you are interested in the subjects PSC is known for, that ESF or Cobleskill are more likely to be a better experience for you. I loved my time there, but they let me down in a lot of ways, and I don't think they've changed for the better since.
