don't bring it up

Quite simple really. I expect them to not screw up in the first place. Stanislav Petrov is a good example as he noticed on September 26th of 1983 his nuclear early warning system said the United States launched a ballistic missile at the soviet union which then showed another five seemingly being launched at the USSR. He disobeyed orders and went against protocol which ended up saving millions of people as the nuclear early warning system gave falls reads. I expect people to make good judgements. There were a lot of signs that the USS Liberty was U.S owned and you’d need to question why fire bombing an obvious navy vessel from what they thought was potentially an enemy was their go to move. Instead of making sure to confirm it, they jumped immediately over to killing and destroying. 34 deaths, 171 wounded crew members and an apology is the only thing Israel can do about it? What about for instance not killing people in the first place? They certainly could have done that but ultimately did not.
