I don't know, some things are just not compatible with me

Thierry Baudet's great-grandfather, Pierre Henry Joseph Baudet was married to Ernestina Louisa Augusta van Heemskerck, daughter of Josephine David von Franquemont.

Josephine David von Franquemont was the daughter of Ludovicus Carolus David von Franquemont, who on his turn was the grandson of Karl Eugen of Würtemburg, DUKE of Württemburg. Karl's mother was PRINCESS Marie August of Thurn und Taxis (you know, the family that built and used to own that humongous Tour & Taxis building in Brussels. Yes, Tour & Taxis is a real last name, although frenchified).

Of course, once you get into medieval nobility territory, especially higher nobility, with all the intermarriages, it is no surprise if I tell you Baudet is related and a distant cousin of:

Queen Elizabeth II of the UK, Boris Johnson, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, Napoleon Bonaparte, King Philippe of Belgium, and so on.

Once you know this, you'll see Baudet from a different perspective. I mean, sure, the guy is only like 5th cousins with all these monarchs, and his descendance might be through illegitimate bastard sons & daughters, but still.
