If USD is really your dream school AND u wanna practice in SD AND you got a scholarship - what's making you hesitate?! USD has a huge san diego network & i'm not sure Chicago-Kent can set you up with the same kind of summer internships in SD or job networking events in SD. From what i hear Kent is a regional school, it makes sense if you want to live in Chicago or the midwest...Also California's bar is the hardest in the nation, and i think it makes sense to attend a school in California if it's around the same ranking. I would also look more into Kent's job placement or states they place graduates in, maybe go contact someone there who knows this info? In my opinion it's a no brainer: you want to live/work in SD, go to USD!
