Sure, but it is more often than not for the parents benefit. Parents are nothing more than dictators. They create ridiculous rules and come up with punishments far beyond the crime. If parenting was a country, it'd be North Korea. You fuck and then produce a child that had no free choice in determining its own existence. Then you enact arbitrary rules to control it and keep it in line. When parents give you something nice they say "why are you so ungrateful?" Well I'm ungrateful because now I am existing on this godforsaken planet that I had zero choice in determining if I even wanted to be here. They decided to have us, not the other way around.
