Doubting medical school path

If you get into medical school in Canada the match rate is 97% (closer to 100% if you don't have red flags and apply broadly), there are over 30 fields in medicine, if you get accepted you will find some that you like. Medical school is chill, it's pass/fail and there are so many supports for you if you struggle. Medicine is a gaurnteed way to be in the top1% (or top 0.1% in some fields) of all income earners in Canada. It's a job with the highest status, prestige, job stability in the world. It's also a job where everything you do is to heal/help others so very high job satsifcation. Even if someone brings up the top percentile wall-street hedge fund manager who makes more...well they are behind a desk all day, can get fired any time, at the whim of the economy, and their job is presenting x-cell spreadsheets.
