The reason I ask is because all of these things are more intimate than a kiss.

I also ask because i spent a good amount of time in Italy and there everyone kisses everyone for every reason. You see a friend, you kiss them. You see a family member, you kiss them. You’re meeting a new person, you kiss them. Your favorite team just won, you kiss your friends. You kiss people who just graduated and people who were just married, you kiss the mailman on his or her birthday. Literally none of it is sexual. Everyone does it.
