Take it easy on me, I’m new to porn

It is not very good. Biggest issue is busing 10 amps around the cabinet. The assembly becomes class 3. When discussed with Life Safety Power they claim the boards are all class 2. Yes but they are interconnected class 3 so the assembly is class 3.

Having removable automotive fuses seems cool, but it is no longer inherently current limited. All someone has to do is replace a 3 amp current limiting fuse with a 20 amp fuse and a fire and shock danger is created.

Is this a real problem or a made up one? Well it is NEC code. Cable pulled outside of conduit cannot be that high energy. A subcontractor during a door add installed cable with a ground fault. The fuse kept blowing so the tech kept increasing the fuse size. The circuit caught fire and smoke was coming out from behind the card reader. The over current exceeded the PSUs main fuse and it blew. The fire was extinguished. The cable was repulled and the power distribution boards were replaced with circuit breakers. This is only one of numerous examples I have observed in my career.

The best approach is class 2 inherently current limited. You can do that with Altronix Maximal PSU.

Unfortunately OP is lacks knowledge about what he is doing. He claims and input board has 16 form C outputs. But the real problem is the company he working for doesn't understand what it is doing either. The industry is giant failure. It has been around for at least 40 years and I still see stupid shit. Jurisdictions are starting to pay attention because the stupid shit is starting fires, blocking egress, and causing electrical shocks.

OP is probably a good kid but someone should take him aside and mentor him. And not his old man either since I doubt he understands what is going on either. His work is a C at best. But he has got a bunch of internet points so he probably thinks he is doing great. Then there are the commenters ITT praising and upvoting.
