eli5 what is a fascist?

Not a lot of these answers will go into the economics of it. We know that fascists are supportive of endless violence but who is supportive of them?

Fascism according to Mussolini is the combination of corporations and the state.

Under fascism anything that can make you money is correct, even if it’s killing an entire group of people who are perceived enemies. On a really dark note ||the Holocaust had been a profitable venture, they made money in many ways from doing it||. Yeah.

In Germany the government at the time was running, in addition, large scams. Hundreds of thousands of people funded the war but they had thought they were purchasing new cars. Hitler became a millionaire. Japan sold cigarettes with opium in them to addict users, and Italy brought back child labor, and so on and so on.

We have the knowledge that rich people in these places had enacted fascism and been amenable to it as a reaction to threats to their own political power.

A fascist is someone who seeks to uphold certain political goals (namely control of society by the rich) through violence and deceit.
