Elijah Wood Speaks Out on Child Abuse in Hollywood: 'There Are a Lot of Vipers in This Industry'

I guess no one will read this, oh well.

In the 90's I was working in LA and was sitting outside a cafe in Venice Beach. A grungy kid next to me starts talking with me. He seemed hungry for human contact or conversation or something. We get talking and very soon he starts telling me about something that happened recently.

He said that he was walking on 3rd street in Santa Monica when some guy offered to buy this kid some food. Mind you, this kid looked homeless. The kid says sure and goes with the guy and the guy buys him food. I don't remember how, it was a conversation a long time ago, but the kid then tells me that he ended up at the guy's apartment or home. He starts telling me how the guy starts offering the kid money if the kid will let him give the kid a massage. The guy pulls a roll of money out of his pocket. I think the kid said they were 100s or something. The kid is desperate for money and agrees. Then the guy starts offering the kid money to give the kid a hand job. And really offering a lot of money. The kid hesitates then agrees. He needs the money. I think it went on... my memory is fuzzy. But I think it led to more intimate sexual stuff. I think there was a blowjob in there.

Anyway, I'm listening to the story horrified. The kid is clearly upset about the whole thing and I distinctly remember him asking me, "does this mean I'm gay?". I said no, it means you were taken advantage of.

It was so fucked up. It was the underbelly of LA coming out in the sunshine of a pretty cafe.

You know the kicker? That I remember for a fact? The kid told me the guy was the manager for Axel Rose.

This was somewhere in the mid to late 90's.

Whoever was the manager for Axel Rose then... FUCK YOU YOU SICK FUCK.
