[Elite Specs] Did anyone find that a core weapon worked better on an Elite Spec instead of the new weapon?

Yep, speaking as someone who recently switched to a condi build, rev makes it REALLY attractive to want to stay as power, even though it isn't particularly good:

Zerker gear is easy to get, Viper's gear is a pain (especially accessories), and as you said condi NEEDS full viper's to reach its potential

Facet of Light lets you make slip ups and recover easily

It actually makes good use of the energy mechanics

Crystal. Ghost. Dragons.

Permaswiftness

You constantly get nice big red and white numbers making everything FEEL impactful, condo is constant teeny tiny black numbers doing their best to not be noticed.

You actually have a ranged option in hammer and don't gimp your DPS quite as much when using staff

You make contributions to your group just by being around, and your rotation is VERY simple, making it noob friendly... The worst possible thing for them because they get sucked into the power rev trap even easier

Sword/axe just LOOKS visually appealing, especially sword3, and the "blind swordsman" trope is always cool.

So yeah, Power rev is a beautiful trap, I've actually had a few people whispering me about moving to condi rev and being worried about taking the first steps of giving up FoL and permaswiftness, and wanting to know if it is really worth it.

The answer is ABSOLUTELY YES. Sure, it sucks to give up the "big numbers", immortality button, ranged option, and swiftness, but PoF is fixing those last two things whilst buffing condi damage even further, and the numbers ARE actually bigger, even if the text is smaller. And my GOD does it feel satisfying to get a killing blow with mace 3, that THOOM combined with the mob dropping dead is stylish as fuck.
