Emerging markets

AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning are huge right now with companies paying a HUGE premium for engineers with education in these fields. This is "The Next Big Thing" at the moment. I'd be careful with this though. We may reach market saturation for these fields by the time somebody starting a 4 year university degree today reaches graduation. It's a valuable skillset nonetheless.

5G is going to be huge for the next several years, and all associated technologies will also be in demand. I'm particularly bullish on Time Sensitive Networking as a niche field of study for graduate degrees as industry adoption of this technology in the IOT area has been rapidly increasing.

Along with TSN comes the necessity of real-time computing and solving "the last inch" problem.

That's my brief input. Hope it helps.
