GECU worst service ever!

Stuff like that happens a lot, not just at GECU (had almost the same experience at Wells Fargo). My friend works at a GECU and I can tell you when a person puts in a complaint the employees hear about it and there is always a "reminder/training" for the particular person it was about. It also affects their opportunity for a raise at the end of the year. What I suggest is always getting the name of the person who helps you at any place. You should know as a manager that is very very important for you to do. Go back and find the person who forgot to put you in the system and put in a complaint. (They need a name)
It baffles me as to why you did not go up to someone to let them know you were not serviced before waiting so long. Again, as a manager you should know that people sometimes do get distracted so you need to remind them when they are doing something wrong.

And as far as the loan offer they can not reduce the percentage, they go by your credit score. This is not a complaint you can make. They can not change your rate they are regulated by CUNA, certain federal regulations, and the upper ups at the Credit Union. Even employees can not change the rate they are given.

Seriously, go find the person who did not sign you in and make a complaint against them. My friend is always complaining that coworkers who don't do their job correctly make customers take out their stress on her. (She has been with them for more than 15years. ) If that worker needs more training make sure that the managers know.

And if you don't want to find the person who made the mistake then learn form your mistake this time and make sure you always get a name from any customer service rep at any business so you know who to blame for the actual problem.

I"m sorry this happened to you but you also gotta protect yourself from bad customer service by doing your part too. Not every employee is going to be "the best". Hope you were able to find a place with better rates and customer service though.
