Yeah it was accidental, but its no big deal.

But I recognized it after the fact as well.... I have those ballades so cemented in my mind. I probably subconsciously recalled it while composing. Besides, when you make simple right handed tonal melodies, it is literally impossible to not have a few measures somewhere sound like something else.

But obviously, besides being no where near as technically proficient as a Chopin masterpiece, no one is ever going to accuse it of infringement.

And with all the unnecessary criticism I have taken, I am pretty sure all my songs are as original as they can be.

But thats a good ear. It is not obvious, unless you really listen to Chopin a lot.
