I don't think you're qualified to state how all transgender individuals do or don't dress. Furthermore, not all transpersons dress as women, and it's slightly confusing why you chose to exclude those who identify otherwise.

Trans people want to identify as their desired gender identity because on a mental level, they feel they are the opposite gender.

Ok, so that inspires yet another question: does merely feeling like you are something else, actually make you that something else?
