I had my car towed from my workplace parking lot by a tow truck company who later claimed they towed it from the parking lot next doors lot by request. Which was a total fucking lie. But tell that to the police and they say "well you can take them to civil court over the matter but you have to pay their fee to get your car out first and there is nothing we can do"

Literally the LAW supported the shady as fuck tow truck company that stole my car while i worked. I paid $405 to get my car back, had to pay $150 to file the small claims court paperwork to sue them $405+150+extra for time wasted cost of not having car for 3 days.

Finally in front of judge for 2nd time and they actually present some bullshit paperwork with the company next doors address on it as "evidence" that is where my car was parked and towed from.

The judge apparently concluded i was just some piece of shit liar who got his car towed and was wasting his time by suing a tow truck company in small claims court because I was mad and basically said if i had no evidence to present that proved i was not parked in the spot that it was a "he said she said" story and that the judge was not going to make a company pay back something it has done thousands of times and never had a problem with.

Fuckity fuck fucked. $555 down the drain because some douche bag tow company wanted to make a buck that day.

I do not support harassing random people, but Tow truck companies need more regulations such as always having a manager available to explain charges and be held to a certain standard time of operation process and have more standardized guidelines to the amount of money they can charge for the service and how much can be added on in extra fees.
