rant: I have to be honest, JL could be good in a vacuum imo, but I'm very salty about the compromises to this film and by extension the 'trilogy.' It just seems like a studio film. I'm not talking about Joss' influence, but that we have obvious reshoots (many being Superman apparently), rehashed campy superhero themes in a largely unforgettable score, 2 hr run time w/ some deleted scenes they probably won't end up showing us ever but should have, uninteresting villain, and most importantly Zack's vision. Don't get me wrong, most of this film is his but it was definitely focus group'd the shit out of. I'm not against jokes (jfc) but I'm curious if people would have the same reactions to this film if it were exactly the same sans 90% of the jokes.

So I'm really hoping a UC will come out and we can get a Zimmer dub over that, because at least it'll feel like a piece of art that belongs to somebody, not the studio.
