Depressed because looks clearly matter yet people lie about it

I'm a guy, 23, and for the longest time I have looked horribly, stupidly young. Sometimes people think I am 18 years old to this date.

I think I have you beat in this department.

When I was 23 I had cops pull me over on multiple occasions and detain me on the side of the road believing I was 16 joyriding in my parents car.

When I was 27 I attempted to purchase some beers and snacks at a grocery store to take back to my hotel while I was on business travel and had the clerk confiscate my authentic drivers license 100% convinced it had to be fake as there as no way I could possibly be over 21. I had to call the police to get it back so I could be admitted to the airport for my return flight.

When I was 28 I was asked in complete seriousness if I attended [my town's name] high school and they were dumbfounded when I replied "How did you know? I'm class of 2005, you?"

Now I'm 30 and the last couple years have caused my looks to go to hell. I've aged so much overnight I'm told I look 35 in photos/people have accused me of lying about my age on online dating, yet people who meet me in person still regularly guess I'm about 23.
