Favorite Terry Gilliam film? I love 12 monkeys, Time Bandits and Fisher King

Big time cine lover here, especially 1930's through 1990's films

Like most great directors (Hundreds of them and counting)

Their films are learning experiences for myself, I can watch certain films, just to revisit a short or long scene in that particular movie, audio off-visual only, visual off, audio only.

Their all good "Gilliam Films", especially when watched again and again over long time periods, young child/young adult/adult viewings. Some films have different effects on myself at different time periods.

I struggle only with Tideland as far as repeated viewings, its not terrible and better than 90% of the film released in the past 15 years. But its my least favorite if i were forced to isolate 1 Terry Gilliam movie that I don't enjoy again and again, but someone else might relate and find it amazing, which is understandable and I learn a lot about that person and their affections to a particular type of mood or what they dig.

Like in 1990 my favorites were (Time Bandits & Brazil)

In 2000 my favorite was (Brazil & 12 Monkeys)

In 2010 my favorite was (Brazil & The Fisher King)

In 2023 my favorites are (Brazil, 12 Monkeys, Zero Theorem)

With all the "great directors"" in the business now, not 1 of them comes even close to even a cheap imitation of his style or vision "big word these days in movies".
