Long video, so I just started typing as I watched. Don't worry, I like long LPs and watch plenty of 30-60 minute videos, so that's not off putting to me in the least. Also, wish you would have mentioned it was DkSII as I would have clicked sooner.

The intro is not exactly quiet, but...unenthusiastic maybe? A piece of advice that I've used in my professional life when trying to help someone with their phone etiquette that I think can apply here as well is, "Always start off at a level of energy that you feel is a little too energetic. There's a natural tendency for your tone to settle lower over the course of 20-30 minutes and you don't want to sound bored by the end."

While making decisions, perhaps explain what you're thinking...instead of just 'hmmm'...I've played DkSII, and understand the difference in the Warrior and the Knight, but to someone new to the series, an explanation of the classes and why you're choosing one over the other might be helpful. You do mention that you want a shield, and ultimately go with the Warrior, but there has to be more to the decision than just that considering you can buy a shield as soon as you get to Majula.

Similarly, explaining the bonfires...what lighting does and what resting does...the warping mechanics, etc assuming that you know what they do...might be useful details to fill the space. I can't quite tell how experienced you are with the game as you mention having played it before, but that you didn't get far.

I liked the editing choice of cutting away for character creation. Some of my favorite LPs of the Souls series would cut away, but then upload a part 1b with the scrapped video and show the character creation. Just something to consider.

This one is definitely a matter of personal preference, but when I watch a Souls game, I want to see item descriptions in order to get an understanding for the lore. Without it, the game is definitely very confusing as there's little exposition given to you in cut scenes or dialogue. You even say, "I don't know what that is," when picking up a cracked red eye orb, but then you don't look at the item to get an explanation of it. The consequences of this being that it slows down the progress of what can be a very long game. Pros and Cons to be sure, but something to consider.

Overall, audio and video quality were both excellent. You speak clearly and were easy to understand. I liked it in general and watched Part II after finishing part I.
