Firearm's and the Gunslinger seems so cool and composed... Until you realize how goofy Flintlock loading is.

Also, I'd like to point out that the deadly trait is an extremely tiny boost to damage.

The only way to reliably get crits is with a keen rune, giving you 10% crit. Against weak enemies it's stronger, but they already die quickly, so we'll just use 10%.
With deadly d10, you get an average of 5.5 damage added on each crit, so you have 10% chance to do 5.5 damage, an average of about 0.55 damage.

Lets compare that to increasing the damage die one step.
Each damage die increase is 1 damage on average, per die. Already, it is almost double. At higher dice this gets worse. 2 vs 0.55, 3 vs 1.1, and 4 vs 1.65.

It works out to being worth slightly below half of a damage die in many builds. In a class like fighter, with a good chance of crit, I might value it similarly to a damage die increase, but not more.

On propulsive, it's barely noticeable.
At level 1, with 18 dex/16 str build, (a huge investment btw) it gives you +1 damage, (the same as a die step) and then it scales to +2 at level 5 (a level behind your average die increase) Then wait until level 15 and 2 more boosts invested just for a measly +3, at which point you've had 3 dice for a while.
