Do you feel adequately rewarded at your job?

I feel like I'm adequately rewarded for my level of experience at my current position, that being said I am nearing what I believe to be considerable proficiency at the role and eligible for another raise. At present, I feel I am rewarded at the level I should but know that if I moved companies I could take a 30-40k raise. That being said I excel compared to peers and have hit the companies top performance markers both times I've completed annual reviews.

SunsetVampire makes a good point about the expanding kingdom. I'm a manager who wants to head to the top and am ambitious in doing so. In the last 12 months I've gained an additional 12 headcount to my team but am now the head of a department and therefore require a larger organization to continue being specialized rather than a GM type manager.

Come performance review time again, If i didn't get a raise/bonus of considerable nature I would not feel like I was adequately rewarded considering my contribution over the last 12 months.
