I feel like sometimes women objectifying or sexualising other women isn’t seen as such a big deal and I think it’s quite problematic.

I guess I need examples. Like if I see someone and I’m like “wow she has great tits” that’s just tit appreciation. I don’t think that’s objectifying. She’s still a person (with great tits). Or if I tell my friend she looks hot, that’s just my hot friend. Not sexual. I don’t think that fetishizing anything.

Do you think any comment on a woman’s appearance is wrong because it’s like shallow and superficial? Genuine question, because maybe it is. I hadn’t thought of it that way. Or maybe because we live in a patriarchy and generally tend to conform to patriarchal beauty standards, it makes complimenting something that conforms to those standards misogynistic, in a way?
