Finally got caught at Target but got away

Picked target out of all stores to lift from- Check. Repeatedy hit the same target- Check. Added a robbery charge to his case- Check. Ladies and gentlemen, if you are going to do this, know what the hell you're doing. The best and most experienced shoplifters on this sub all preach the same rules for good reasons. This kid is a fucking idiot and has no idea what the hell he's getting himself into. Let's analyse what he attempted to steal from a loss prevention officers perspective:

Chroma keyboard and 2tb storage drives are in the electronics section- the highest shrink department in the store, followed by makeup. The moment you go into this area, no matter how slick you think you are, assume big brother is watching you. Concealing is useless and only makes their job easier.

Lego set- a large, bulky package that cannot be concealed and many L.P know people steal these to fence them.

Add all this together, then take into account that this is a 15-18 year old kid that probably looks really young (Very few kids have $4-500 to spend by themselves like this) and has little experience in this field so he'll exhibit the signs l.p look for (looking for cameras, general shiftyness, strange/high value product selection). Amounts this large are stolen by either junkies or experienced boosters and should NEVER EVER EVER BE TRIED AT HIGH SECURITY STORES LIKE TARGET. Luckily he caught a break but wrestling and fitness will never be able to outrun a radio or a warrant. Do not encourage this, if caught this kid is looking at SERIOUS felony charges that will more than ruin his life.
