Really wish someone would receive refund progress. We paid 140k off completely, and frustratingly we didn't know we had to apply separately for parent plus loans since they were all used for our education and went to the fraudulent school. Now we are nervous all the time becuse our name is class group, but our parents plus loans are post class... so less than a fifth of that loan may be paid back! It's a nightmare. I'm so angry with the bureaucracy and process when we had been crucial to providing evidence showing Brookes institute made promises in writing that they were going to have accreditation and our education would be transferable regionally. It's all fraud everywhere... this process is slow and absurd when you consider the quickness with which your life is ruined and your assets taken from you when they desire so.... but I can't even sue a mortgage servicer I have perfect accounting contradicting their claims for years and they just get away with delaying the case until I can't afford my lawyer anymore. It's all an abortion of justice. Justice isn't the soft and patient half hearted refund that occurs now over years while the businesses that frauded us continue to invest in more lobbying and earn more capital. We are happy just to be able to maybe build our scores back up! Where is the penalty for my time and stress and the punishment for those that lied! It's no good.
