Finally trying Tony's Chocolate despite the £3 price tag to find it's utterly disappointing

Disagree that anyone buying the product should know the ethos and focus of the producer. Noone has time to research every manufacturer as they wander the aisles doing the weekly shop. It might be their thing, and it might not be a bad thing, but if they go against the norm it'll cause friction somewhere.

Fwiw, the uneven chunks thing might be making some grand statement but it spoiled the product for me. I got uncomfortable chunks with a side of guilt from reading the wrapper - not the moment of indulgence I want from a little pick me up treat. Coupled with it not living up to the hype that was the first and last bar of Tony's for me.

I guess it worked though - I don't buy any mass produced chocolate at all now.
