First iPhone ever.

Google's iOS apps insist on using Material UI instead of Apple UI elements,

Which is fantastic because I use Google apps across all my devices and consistent user experiences make for better products!

they don't have the same integration with iOS as stock apps do

That only matters if you use apple services or apps.

I don’t need deep integration with iOS because I use the Google ecosystem of services.

Chrome is my default browser.

Gmail is my default email client.

Google calendar is my calendar.

All of those open up to Google maps which is my map app of choice.

I use Google keep for notes and I can share anything to that via the share sheet.

I mean I could keep going but this argument is from 2014 and doesn’t make sense.

user experience is generally worse in my opinion

Opinions are like assholes everyone has one.

Apple apps have almost no features and unless you are using Apple services, are quite trash.

But Apple services are trash so ...

and Google still haven't updated their apps to show privacy details (despite promising to reporters they'd do it 'next week'... last week)

You mean the privacy details that Apple has no way to vet?

The same details that have absolutely no affect on my usage of the Google apps services that I love and rely on?

Yeah no one fucking cares about this.
