Fix Thy Hammers Bungie.

You pointed out hit detection which I agreed with. I pointed out issues with the super that have nothing to do with hit detection that have been around since vanilla. I also acknowledged that the hit detection issue is post TTK. But, since you asked, once again...

-They can't jump high enough to reliably hit Titans and Warlocks who jump first. This is particularly true if you're running blink which is a major benefit to running Blade Dancer over the other two classes. Nothing to do with hit detection...

-After three consecutive strikes, there is an animation delay (think sprint delay just not as long) before starting a new series of strikes. Once again, nothing to do with hit detection... This is a problem because you move faster by striking then sprinting.

-It is essentially a melee-based super. That's not an issue on its own but that, combined with the animation delay mentioned above and the lack of armor buff when in blade dance, it can easily be countered with timing and a shot gun blast. Again, nothing to do with hit detection.

-It was a popular subclass in year one but that was because of the Arc-Bolt/Lucky Raspberry combo. Since year 1 Arc-bolts have been nerfed and, to date, Lucky Raspberry is a year one Exotic while comparable combos for other classes best grenades still remain untouched. Not a hit detection issue.

-Your super energy rapidly decreases versus other supers except for Gunslingers. That's where the range issue comes in again, because you have to close more space then you would with Hammers of Sol, Golden Gun and, to a lesser extent, Storm Trance which also have supers that drain over time. Golden Gun is the only super that drains at a similar speed but has the range to make it a non issue. Once again, not a hit detection issue.

In fact, here is exactly what I said about hit detection in my first post...

"Those issues for Blade Dancers have all existed since Day 1 and nothing... and that's not even getting into the hit detection issue that came with TTK, or the PvE issues with the class (using your entire super on a yellow knight without killing it, for example)."

I'd pay particular attention to the part where I say 'and that's not even getting into the hit detection issue that came with TTK...'. I understand where you got confused because I mentioned this in my next response 'But where hammers are now is still not as bad as Blade Dance are and have been since vanilla's release.' but I was specifically talking about the points I made in post #1... not what you brought up which is hit detection. Sorry for not being clear enough, as you can see by my first post, I get that the hit detection is a year 2 issue only and thought we were on the same page there.
