Sorry to hear that you didn’t like anything enough to to discuss. I respect that, but disagree. As for this becoming a dumping ground, I guess if people don’t want to listen to the music, or engage in the exchange of music, and discuss it, then there is really absolutely no point to the sub. It takes about a millisecond just to upvote something. People around here seem to treat the upvote button as though it’s a precious currency, or part of their bank account. If I hear something that’s pretty good, and haven’t heard the band before, I’m going to upvote it to let the poster know that I appreciated the post, and that there are people actually paying attention to what they’re putting here. I don’t think something has to be groundbreaking to enjoy it. I could really care less about “karma” , but I do use upvotes on posts as a gauge to judge if people enjoy something. It’s really difficult to believe that virtually nobody on a melodeath sub can appreciate any of the 9 songs, which is why I posted so many.
