For the first time, non-religious people in the Netherlands are in the majority

Because I'm being realistic about the masses. They don't care about Kantian ethics or philosophy.

Fair point. But this is not a problem that education can't fix. Where i live, pupils have to choose whether they want to study religion or philosophy, i think this is a choice that everyone should have.

Look at the world around us. It's full of greed and misery because that's what humans gravitate towards.

I don't see it that way. Sure, i see the misery you speak of, but it is perceived as such almost universally, religious or not.

Even your average person scoffs at the poor, sick, and disabled.

You are not describing the world i live in. If the world really does look like this where you live, i'm truly sorry. But i have a suspicion that you only see the evil in people. Try to give humanity more credit, and maybe you'll see a better world.
