Yeah it’s a shame. I main hunter and the least of my concerns is amount of kills, my main goal is to do exactly what survival is about, holding the points. Hunters always do a lot of damage, but they should really take the time to focus on their team too. For example, ignoring enemies that assassins have caused to hallucinate since that is really helpful, especially if they hallucinate a purple oni or crow oni. If the ronin just used his ult drop munitions smoke and try to help them get as many kills needed to get their ult back up again. A lot of hunters seem to just go in and kill everything and constantly die by not paying attention to hwachas. And it’s not exclusive to hunters, I’ve seen all sorts of players so focused on kills they forget to try to stay alive. Sadly it seems kills are top priority to many players.
